Guide to Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest
INTRODUCTION
It is about time that YunaMs gets its own comprehensive CWKPQ guide! This is a very fun PQ that gives you excellent bonus drops such as white scrolls, chaos scrolls, clean slate scrolls 20%, gelt chocolate, Naricain's demon elixir, and Swiss cheese. The latter three are attack pots necessary for bossing. They also sell for good money. This PQ gives you 5 PQ points per round.

Requirements
  • Level 120+
  • 5 people, all 5 classes (thief/mage/warrior/pirate/archer)
  • Pre-quest completion (see this amazing guide by Player). Everyone in the party needs to have the pre-quest completed.
Check list
  • Autohp/auto mp (for mages) + pet: stage 3 will be very hard to do without this
  • Wheels of destiny: so if you die you can be resurrected in the PQ map
  • All cure pots
  • Hero’s will obtained: one of the bosses in the last stage has the ability to seduce
  • Make sure pet loot is OFF for bonus stage
How to get to the party quest
  • Have the map Hall of Mastery saved on VIP teleport rock and enter the top right portal to enter the PQ map
  • OR through the dimensional portal
Sigils

The sigils do look pretty similar. Here my tip on how to remember them. Warrior - looks like an axe, archer - looks like a bow, magician - looks like a staff, pirate - looks like tree of life, thief - scramble

STAGES

Stage 1
  • Thief/mage go to the other end of the map and enter the portal. This will open a secret entrance behind the second last pillar on the right side of the room. Press up to enter.
  • The person who enters the portal will be transported to the left side of the map, they will have to go through the secret entrance to advance as well.
  • Stage 1 walk through
Stage 2
  • Activate the sigil that belongs to your class.

Skills used to activate sigils are as follow [WIP]
WarriorArcherMagicianThiefPirate
DrK – polearm or spear crusher or dragon fury
Paladin – charged blow
Hero – shout
Aran – snow charge
DW – soul blade
BM – strafe
MM - piercing arrow
WA – strafe
Explorer mages - magic claw
BW – meteor shower stage 2/3 and fire strike stage 4
Shadower – band of thieves
NW/NL - avenger or shadow partner
Corsair – rapid fire
Bucc – dragon strike
TB – shark wave

Stage 3
  • Each class will need to activate their respective sigils (see image below). As long as all the sigils are activated, the bottom portal will open. You do NOT need to go through the top portal. However, going through the top portal will take you back to the bottom of the map.
  • This stage is a jump quest. Can use @speed or mount to adjust your speed to make the jump quest easier.
  • Please make sure you have a pet and autohp equipped. The totems deal a hefty damage. Without auto hp, you will need to manually repot after every hit.
  • It is customary to wait for other people to go past you before you activate your sigil. Activating the sigil early will cause the totems to move, making the jump quest harder.
  • Stage 3 Walk Through (as you can see, I waited for thief and pirate to advance past me before activating the sigil. Watch until the end to see hot tip on how to get to portal faster!)

Stage 4
  • 5 sigils need to be activated to clear the stage. The sigils are placed randomly each round on the left, top, and right. Some sigils can be fake. The pirate and archer sigils are ALWAYS REAL (so call them when you see them). To identify if other classes’ sigils are fake or real, hit the sigils with basic attack. If the sigils spin, then they are fake. If they do not spin, then they are real.
  • Some classes can have multiple real sigils each round. You can activate more than 1 sigil per class, this will still count toward the total of 5 sigils needed.
  • It is customary for the mage or thief to call out the positioning of the sigils for other classes because they have the most mobility. (eg. Archer top, pirate bottom <<). Please make sure the sigil is REAL first before calling out position. For the mage/thief, it is important to not only know your own sigil, but also the sigil for other classes!
  • Stage 4 Walk Through (as you can see, thief and I tried to call out sigil placements for other classes)
Stage 5
  • Enter the room for your respective class (as indicated in the image below). Obtain the missing weapons from the NPC in the room after completing the requirements. Make sure you have 1 ETC slot free before talking to the NPC.
  • Drop the weapons at the proper locations on the statue.
  • Before everyone enters their room, the thief should haste, the archer should SE, and the pirate (if thunder breaker/buccaneer) should SI. This allows the warrior to clear their map faster
Mage: kill all mobs, talk to the NPC on the left side of the map to obtain the Staff. If you are a blaze wizard, make sure to use elemental reset, otherwise you do not deal any damage to the mobs. Mage Room Walk Through.
Warrior: make your way to the top while killing every single mob, then talk to the NPC at the top to receive the Sword. Press up on the door next to the NPC to be teleported back down.
Thief: use basic attack to hit all the purples eyes that are scattered in the map. Once done, talk to the NPC to receive the Claw. You do not have to the kill the mobs. Thief Room Walk Through.
Pirate: open all the boxes to find the Gun. The Gun placement each round is random. This video will show you the fastest way to clear all the boxes.
Archer: kill all the mobs then talk to the NPC to receive the Bow.

Stage 6 (Boss Stage)
  • Once you enter the map, the thief or mage go to the right side of the map to talk to the NPC to release the mobs. (Any party member can talk to the NPC but the thief and mage have the most mobility)
  • Once all the mobs are killed, the thief or mage needs to talk to the NPC again to release the bosses.
  • You don’t have to remember which boss is which. Just know, there is one boss (Margana) on the top platform, this boss seduces. All the other bosses are on the bottom. The archer should use dragon’s breath to push all the bosses on the bottom to the right. Do NOT attack the bottom bosses while the archer is doing this. In fact, you should be attacking the boss on the top platform while waiting for the archer to push.
  • Once the archer is done pushing, the single target classes (eg. NL/NW/BM/Corsair) should focus Margana and all the other classes should attack the bottom bosses.
  • When killing the bosses on the bottom, please make sure you use an auto cure pot as soon as you are poisoned, otherwise you may die if hit by 1/1 attack.
  • Once all the bosses are killed, click the NPC to clear the stage.
  • In this stage, the host will also roll for the bonus boxes. The two bonus boxes go to the top two rolls. The winners of round 1 are excluded from winning in round 2.
  • Before heading into the bonus round, someone should family buff 1.2 drops so you get better loot! (This is important)
  • Boss stage video walk through: this video shows what happens if you do not use acp in time if poisoned and die to a near 1/1 attack. Also the consequence of dying without wheels of destiny... Full consent obtained, of course, from Yeet, the unfortunate sacrifice.
Hallway
Once you exit the boss map, head over to the right portal to enter the bonus stage. PLEASE make sure all members are at the portal before you go in as the 2-minute timer starts as soon as one person goes in.

Bonus stage
  • Loot distribution is based on the order of the party hp bars.
  • Everyone has 6 boxes to open. The two bonus boxes are located on the left and right. The host will usually call out where the top 2 rollers go based on proximity. (eg. If the highest roll is #3 on the party hp bar, then going to the left box makes the most sense. This means the second highest roll goes to the right box. #5 can go to either box depends on which box is closer for the other high roller.)
  • Make sure pet loot is OFF
