Hello, I'm Malzeno and I'm back with a DPS calculator for ALL the classes, including mages.
Since the last time I posted this, I've been hard at work adding stuff and checking a lot of data to try and make sure my calculator is as accurate as possible. I'd like to extend a massive massive thank you to my guild members, Yuki, Bacon, Rony, Hubris, and non-guild member ShackOfSit for helping me get a lot of data for various classes.
The functionality from before remains the same - you can check how a piece of gear will affect your range and the expected damage for your skills. But I also added a little dps display below the damage display, which should hopefully be accurate.
In order to use the sheet, you'll want to make a copy for yourself. To do this, click "File" in the top left, then select "Make a copy" to make your own personal copy on your Google Drive.
In order to use the calculator, first select what weapon you use, along with your class. Then you can input your main stat, base main stat, and secondary stat, with NO MAPLE WARRIOR.
Then you also have to input your total weapon attack on your character across your gear, skills, and items. However, don't worry if you don't want to calculate this all manually, the sheet can calculate it for you. On the right side of the sheet, you'll see spots where you can input your max range, and min range, and it'll spit out your calculated weapon attack for your character. Please note that to get the correct values, you need to input your stats on the left hand side first. Both of the values should be exactly the same, if they're not check your values, and if it still looks wrong, please let me know so I can fix it!
You can also choose to use an item buff (Narc, Gelt), along with Maple Warrior, and Echo of Hero.
The middle spits out the calculated Max and Min Range, and this should match your values in-game as a sanity check.
This section, along with the chart, shows how much main stat it would take to increase your range by the same amount as 1 w.atk. The chart also shows how this would scale with decreasing and increasing weapon attack from your currently inputted values as well.
If you want to check how a new piece of equipment will affect your range, put the difference between your old piece of gear and new piece of gear into this section. The sheet will calculate your new min and new max range, along with the difference between old and new.
If you're a mage, don't worry I didn't forget about you. Simply select the second sheet at the bottom of the page, and follow almost all of the same steps as above. One difference is when you select your class, you simply select what skill you're using and it'll spit out the calculated min and max damage range for that skill. This sheet also has the same gear calculation as well.
This sheet does NOT take enemy defense into consideration.
This is for classes with elements on their attack: Paladin, Aran, Dawn Warriors. Tick this if you want to see how much damage you'd do against bosses or enemies with an elemental weakness that you can hit.
If you've done everything correctly (select weapon type, class, input data) then you should see this chart populate automatically! The crit columns only populate if your class can crit without SE (NW,NL, Archers, TB)
Now it's time for the fun part. If you click on this sheet along the bottom, you'll see this:
This works the same as the very first sheet, with a key difference. All stats in the table already calculate the weapon and add it to whatever you input, so the stats you input should be the stats you have from all pieces of gear that aren't your weapon or shield.
Every other field should be pretty self-explanatory. One thing to keep in mind is that when you change the Number of Targets dropdown, the single target dps chart will no longer be accurate. I enabled calculations for 8, 10, and 15 targets because of TB, DW, and Aran respectively.
After inputting the stats you want to use, head on over to this tab:
which will auto-populate with all the classes and auto sort them from highest CRIT DPS to lowest CRIT DPS. I'm going to say this again, THE FIRST COLUMN IS CRIT DPS AND THE SECOND IS NON-CRIT DPS. This means that when you turn Sharp Eyes off, you won't see crit dps for the classes that can't crit (duh) which will throw the chart into disarray.
To the right of the single target DPS table is the cleave, or MT DPS table. This works the same as the single target DPS table, except it also accounts for the Number of Targets that you select in the previous sheet. Classes are naturally capped at their mob hit count limit. I.E. Dark Knights are calculated as only being able to hit 4 mobs, etc. etc.
Another note I'll make here: Aran's DPS is an approximation at the very best. It's very very hard to calculate as their various attacks have different hitboxes, and the way I'm currently calculating assumes each attack hits the same number of targets, which any experienced Aran knows is false. I'm also not taking combo tempest or combo fenrir's animation times into account because I'm not sure on their delays. I approximated their attacks per second by diving the combo requirement by the number of overswings + final blows and the number of targets hit, multiplied by the attack speed of overswing. This is a very very rough approximation, take this with a massive grain of salt.
I debated including mages into the comparison but I didn't for one reason. I don't know mages well enough to know how TMA scaling compares to W.Atk. Mages use their own special formula and their range isn't visible like weapon attack classes. However, I still calculated their DPS in the "Mage Values" sheet that I mentioned above.
Like I said earlier, please please please let me know if anything is inaccurate, broken, or doesn't seem right! I'll try to fix it as soon as I can. The best way to contact me is through discord @_yeoubi.

WHERE ARE MAGES?
I debated including mages into the comparison but I didn't for one reason. I don't know mages well enough to know how TMA scaling compares to W.Atk. Mages use their own special formula and their range isn't visible like weapon attack classes. However, I still calculated their DPS in the "Mage Values" sheet that I mentioned above.
You'll also see other sheets along the bottom. You shouldn't change things in the sheets labelled "Values" or "Damage Calc" unless you're sure you know what you're doing. Also don't look in there because it's very messy and I'm ashamed of it. Well, the entire sheet itself is messy and the GUI isn't very good but hey, it works! (At least I'm pretty sure it works).Like I said earlier, please please please let me know if anything is inaccurate, broken, or doesn't seem right! I'll try to fix it as soon as I can. The best way to contact me is through discord @_yeoubi.
