BUG --> magician AP auto-assign

When you become a 1st job (whatever), the game is supposed to stop auto-assigning AP and let you pump AP manually.

However, it looks like the game isn't doing the above. Instead, it stops auto-assigning at level 10.

This is not a problem for warrior/thief/pirate, because you only get your first job at level 10 anyways. However this IS a problem for magicians.

When my level 8 magician leveled up to 9, the game automatically pumped STR and DEX. It also did that when I leveled up from 9 to 10.

It did stop auto-assigning when I leveled up from 10 to 11.

So.... game needs to check whether character is a magician and then stop doing this at level 8.

Question: when you job advanced, did your AP reset or did it remain the same? The game has a check that, once you perform your first job advancement, your AP will reset to the base required for that job. Did the reset occur at level 8?

Job advance went normally. The game reset all my AP and I received a bunch of unused AP. Then I was able to pump all the unused points into INT by using the @INT command.

The bug happens at level-up. When my char went from level 8 to level 9, it automatically assigned the 5 new AP into STR and DEX. Even though i am a magician.

You can just create a new level 8 magician and see for yourself.
