Revert back to the original drop system, this boss proof stuff is cool but its too complicated and overwhelming.

I didn’t load up mushroom game to read a whole book to learn how to craft. I just want to press buttons, kill stuff, and make mesos.

Wipe the server and revert to original system.

Make it so white scrolls can only be purchased with spirit points or winning in gachapon.
Leave Chaos Scroll in CWKPQ and GPQ but lower the chance to drop to like 10%.

Sweetwater is not hard to get, but having it doesn’t mean you’re strong, scrolling is the hard part and chaos scrolls are depressing enough… No one wants to farm hours to craft gear and ruining it in 1 second with a chaos scroll.

Make the server fun again…

Typical v83 servers allow players to obtain these items too quickly, and this should be something users should strive for in their later levels. This of course is an optional objective, if players choose not to min-max, they always have the option to Timeless or Reverse instead. Additionally, WS/CS/CSS are obtainable in multiple ways so the current system will remain for the longevity of the launch.

I agree SW drops too quickly in original system, but you have to split the 1 SW drop between the party of 6. That’s already slowing down individual progress into SW and that’s where Timeless acts as a placeholder until you get SW.

As a bossing enjoyer, it’s more exciting to see SW drop than having to farm materials to craft it. If the concern is SW dropping too often, just lower the drop rate for SW. It’ll be Despair when nothing drops but the anticipation will be worth the “high” when SW flys out the boss onto the ground.

White scrolls being too easy to obtain was a main problem why progress was rushed because people were finishing their weapon and glove too quickly when this should be the longest process in v83 progression.

Chaos scroll/css being abundant was fine because I’ve seen players use hundreds until they made a “godly” piece of gear. But I still think the drop rate should be nerfed.

The fact is even before the changes to slow progression, the majority of players didn’t get far. There are 200 inactive players in Mafia guild. My point is the players who already benefitted from the abundance of white scrolls, chaos, css aren’t affected by the change so they don’t speak up about the state of current progression unless a wipe happens and they realize how hard it is now. I mean, you need PB to make TL, that only benefits the veterans.

Not sure about the longevity thing, but as a maple private server player I’ve witnessed people come and go all the time for many different reasons. Getting started from fresh is always the hard part, then staying motivated to play. SW being within reach was the motivation to progress.
