Older Patches:
Summer Vibes Incoming:
- The free market entrance has received a summer-y refresh, along with an appopriate BGM
- All Maple Point sales are now 20% off until end of July using coupon code SUMMER24

Skill Changes:

- Hero and Dawn Warrior's combo/advanced combo will no longer be dispelled by monsters

Quality of Life Changes:
- Updated the Discord Rich Presence icon when launching YMS (i.e. "Now Playing YunaMS")
- Updated @rollexp to @rollmap; can only be used in boss maps
- Increased the drop rate of Bullet Storm 30 from 1% to 5%
- Added @discord command to be taken directly to our new discord
- Added text to indicate the current quantities of your items when using the ore storage
- Added an option to the PQ Point Shop to reset Diligent Rings
- Added an in-game starter pack for when a new character is created (see note)

Dev Note: Sometimes, the difference between continuing your noob journey, and giving up, is a few
items. We believe a free starter pack will help with that - it will provide new users with a few
town scrolls, potions, bathrobes, and a temporary Snail/pet equips. These will be
untradeable/untransferable, so that they remain only on that specific character and prevent any
sort of abuse.

Fixes:
- Fixed a crash related to entering the Cash Shop with a near-full Cash Shop inventory
- Fixed an issue where pet equips could not be made permanent
- Fixed an issue where items would wrongfully attach to the incorrect slot when equipped
- Fixed an issue with gift expiration setting when more than 1 of the same item existed
- Fixed a visual bug with messenger interactions when players equip/unequip items
- Fixed a dialogue interaction when new players land in-game and had previously obtained a mount
- Fixed a synchronization issue with ore storage; should address strange load interactions
- Fixed a few issues with Empress Healing (see note)

Dev Note: Empress has been a pain in the booty but since we kept having issues with her either
healing too much, or not healing at all, I decided to re-write the native implementation. The true
behavior of Empress heals is that she will begin healing at or below 40% of her max health. She

will then periodically heal ~40% of her health every few minutes, up to 10 times.
Quality of Life Changes:
- Players can now re-obtain Eye of Fire from Adobis even after completing the intial trials

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where certain cash items were not appearing in the permanent-ize menu
- Fixed an issue preventing premium items from being gifted
- Fixed a few issues with how Superior Arrows were handled (stacking and such)
- Fixed a crash related to interactions with Chaos Horntail
Glad to see the recent changes were received well! This patch will fix up any remaining issues from the previous, and make some adjustments~

Terms of Service Changes:
- 1st offense for botting will now incur a 3-day ban, along with removal of all items/mesos on ALL characters on ALL accounts
- 2nd offense for botting will now incur a permanent ban on all accounts

Skill Changes:
- [Dark Knight] Adjusted Aura of the Beholder formula to 67% instead of 70% to ensure heals don't go above threshold
- [Corsair] Echo of Hero and Explorer's Blessing can now be used while on Battleship

Cash Shop Additions:
- [Overall]: Cottontail Rabbit Dress
- [Shoes]: Umbral Boots
- [Cape]: Heartbeat Devil Tail
- [Weapon]: Cat Soul
- [Weapon]: Silver Bell

Quality of Life Changes:
- Added @redeem command for easier redemption of Selly store coupons
- Added Fast Travel Ticket (30 day) to Jarvis' donator shop
- Added Elemental Wands/Staves to Toad's drop table

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where JQs were still awarding old spirit point values
- Fixed an issue where Thunderbreaker's Spark would trigger false autobans
- Fixed an issue where players were receiving outdated versions of the tier 5 quester ring
- Fixed an issue where certain cash items were wrongfully made permanent
- Fixed an issue with Empress where she would randomly heal herself out of the typical healing cycle
- Fixed an issue with Empress where threaten would sometimes not apply
- Fixed an issue with Empress where she would sometimes fail to execute her remaining heals
View attachment 1212
In an effort to jump-start new player activity a starter package has been added to our Selly store, which includes:

- 4 Aura Rings (30 days)

Quality of Life Changes:
- Scissors of Karma can now be used on Broken Glasses
- Ultimate Quester Ring replaced with Apex Quester Ring (speak to Jarvis to re-obtain)
- Players below level 100 will now receive 2x the mesos (@rates command will reflect this)
- Increased the drop rate of all items from all non-boss monsters by 100%
- Increased the meso drops of all monsters by 300%
- Increased the meso drops of LHC monsters by an additional 30%
- Decreased the amount of mesos/drops received in Ghost Ship 2 by 50%
- Decreased the Spirit Point gains for Jump Quests slightly
- Increased the cost of 15% scrolls in the Spirit Point Shop from 5 to 10
- Increased the cost of CSS/CS/WS scrolls in the Spirit Point Shop from 50/60/70 to 80/80/80
- Added Zakum Certificate to Chaos Zakum's drop table

Dev Notes: In response to player feedback and to rebalance the in-game economy, we've increased meso and item drop rates to address scarcity while raising Spirit Point shop costs to encourage prioritization of mesos. These adjustments, in addition to the doubling of meso rates for players below 100, aim to promote a healthier economic flow: favoring players in the early-to-mid game who can rack up mesos to sell the items/scrolls they accrue, and emphasizing mesos as the primary currency. Additionally, given that players have access to more ways to obtain Spirit Points now more than ever, the adjustment to the costs is justified to slightly slow down end-game progression. Finally, it is worth noting that the Spirit Point shop is intended to serve as a supplement, not the main source of gear modification, and these changes reflect that goal. We will monitor how these changes impact the economy going forward and thank you for your continued support and feedback!!

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where Crash would prioritize non-boss monsters
- Fixed an issue where Arans were unable to re-cast Monster Rider to cancel their mount
- Fixed an issue where Aura of the Beholder was using BASE max HP instead of CURRENT max HP
- Fixed an issue where Empress would be invulnerable to Threaten
- Fixed an issue with object ID assignment, likely causing issues with disappearing NPCs/Monsters
- Fixed a visual bug with pets when used within Jump Quests (and by fix, I mean disabled pets in JQs)

If you are having trouble with patching, please post in the forum or discord. Otherwise, re-download here!

- [NEW Skill: Dawn Warriors]: Weapon Crash; nullifies the physical defense of enemies
- Dark Knight's Aura of the Beholder will now stop healing at 70% HP (for maintaining Berserk)

Dev Notes: Bullet Storm will help Corsairs compete with their projectile counterparts. This skill can be obtained initially from Samuel in the Forest of the Priest automatically when you job advance, however for those who have already job advanced, simply speak to Samual again. Skill books have also been added to the drop table. Dawn Warrior's weapon crash will also be learned immediately upon job advancing, but if you have already job advanced, speak to Cygnus in Ereve to learn the skill.

We believe these changes will breathe new life into this dungeon by removing some unnecessary obstacles while enhancing some of the rewards due to the time investment required. Although we will continue to monitor these changes, we believe this is a good balance with the dungeon and hope to see more players utilizing it. Shoutout to David and Raaj for the assist!

Dev Notes: A few patches back, we made some changes to both Pink Bean and Empress to ensure players were both able to defeat the boss, as well as receive a proportionate reward. Upon reviewing the state of the market, along with the changes to certain equipment and features in the last few months, these changes were needed to control deflation. As always, we'll continue to monitor. This will also upon up the floor to future changes/tweaks for additional content.

Gachapon Changes:
- The following items have been added to Gachapon (respective to each class, with Pirates getting both STR/DEX due to the nature of their subclasses):

- You can try each JQ once per day, resetting daily at midnight
- To get started, visit Paul in Sleepywood
- Rankings can be viewed via the @rankings command
- Good luck!

Updated System: PQ Points and Shop
View attachment 1110View attachment 1111
- Increased the amount of PQ points gained per PQ, based on difficulty (see table)
- Added option to trade 1 PQ Point for 1 Spirit Point via the PQ point shop
- Added new options to the PQ Point shop to assist lower-level players (purple bamboo hat???)
- Players can now select the item they'd like instead of receiving a randomized item
- Note: Players will be capped at receiving 100 PQ points per day

Skill Changes:
- [All Classes w/Final Attack]: Final Attack animation removed; will now be instant instead of delayed after your initial attack

Quality of Life Changes:
- Updated YunaDB and features page to include all of our recent changes
- Added a multi-client check to PQs to prevent abuse of the new PQ point system
- Removed Quest Completion from the weeklies pool (all existing weeklies have been force-completed and players given 10 SP)
- Decreased Spirit Point gains for Area Bosses back to 1/2/3 from 2/3/4

Dev Notes: Regarding Spirit Points: Currently, Spirit Points can be obtained via bosses, weeklies, events, and area bosses. Now, players have the option to do JQs and PQs. With the increases to the SP gained via PQs, along with the new Jump Quest system, there are plenty of ways to obtain Spirit Points. In addition, this change has 2 other effects that benefit us in the long run: 1. Area bosses will be less preferred for SP farming than the other options, thus giving players a better chance at obtaining monster cards and/or questing, and 2. The focus will be moved from area bosses to party quests/jump quests, which is a great way for the community to engage. As always, we will continue to monitor and make changes as needed. Area bosses in general were never intended to be a main source of Spirit Points, so these changes will give clear direction on our intentions.

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where Spike/Cold protection was not being added to items despite a successful scroll (for realsies this time)
- Fixed an issue where certain damage skins values would get cut-off if the user critically hit
- Fixed an issue where skill animations would sometimes infinitely display with no effect
- Fixed an issue where the wrong Snack Bar was giving Spirit Points
- Fixed an issue where Wild Kargo re-spawned extremely slowly in the Wild Kargos Area
- Fixed an issue where Chaos Zakum's summons wouldn't actually die
- Fixed a few incorrect strings on various items/maps
- Fixed marriage annulment logic for when a player deletes a character that's married
- [Please God] Potentially fixed an issue with GFX (again... an ongoing battle, be gentle)
Halloween Event Concluded!
- FM has been restored to its original state; all monsters and ghosts have returned home for the year;
- Removed Halloween Candy globally;

New Feature: Discord Integration

- Players will automatically receive the item upon their 350th set;

Sweetwater Emerald
View attachment 1099
- Similar to the Dragon Stone, the Sweetwater Emerald can be used to upgrade the Sweetwater Pendant;
- SE can be obtained via the Maker skill for 2 Empress Diamonds;
- Note: This item should effectively become the best-in-slot pendant, after maxing out;

Skill Changes:
- [Aran] Combo Barrier has been reverted back to being a party skill;
- [Aran] Decreased Combo Barrier damage mitigation from 30% to 20%;

Dev Notes: This was initially changed to a solo skill due to interaction issues with other Arans in the same party. Since this issue is now resolved, we can change it back to how it was!

- Decreased the price of VIP Teleport Rock (30 days) from 20K to 10K;

- Updated the @damageskins command; can now use skins without needing to re-client; will now save upon reclienting as well;

- Updated both Shoe Spike and Cape Cold Protection scrolls to be tradeable;
- Updated Foxwit's Research quest requirements; will now require a Zakum's Treebranch instead of the other absurd requirements;
- Updated how new player messages work; will now trigger once per character;
- Updated the @points command to @info instead (since the info provided isn't just points anymore!);
- Updated the top left platform in Under the Castle Walls 4 to discourage bot-like behavior;

- Removed Spirit Point gains from the following Area Bosses (to help those questing/job advancing):

  • Griffey
  • Deo
  • Zeno
  • Nine-Tailed Fox
  • Dodo
  • Lilynouch
  • Lyka

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue preventing players from exiting the Moon Bunny Playground;
- Fixed an issue preventing players from speaking with The Informant;
- Fixed an issue where players below level 16 were not able to open certain cash boxes;
- Fixed an issue where a random string related to "meso bags" would appear on certain cash boxes;
- Fixed an issue where Dark Sight was not properly canceling itself when using certain skills;
- Fixed an issue with Piercing Arrow failing to broadcast its skill effect to other players;
- Fixed an issue with Aran's Combo Barrier that prevented other Arans in the party from incrementing their combo count;
- Fixed an issue where Echo of Hero would replace Explorer's Blessing if EB was already active;
- Fixed an issue with footholdings on map: Valley of Snowman;
- Fixed an issue with certain buttons in the Cash Shop getting cut off;

New Event: Tag!
- Players must run away from GMs to avoid getting tagged
- If a GM comes close to you and tags you, you will be eliminated
- The top 3 survivors will be awarded 5 Event Points each

Skill Changes:
- [Shadower] Assaulter can now be used even when a target monster is not present
- [Night Lord/Night Walker] Increased Shadow Partner base damage from 50% to 80%
- [All Thieves] Dark Sight can now be re-casted to cancel itself (in addition to normal attacking)

Dev Notes: Night Lords have always been known as strong single-target DPS attackers; however, they've been consistently on the bottom of the charts. By buffing their Shadow Partners base damage, they can now more consistently deal higher amounts of damage. As for the dark sight and assaulter changes, these are just nice QoL.

- [Hero/Dawn Warrior] Increased Rage W.ATK damage from 20 to 30
- [Hero] Increased Enrage W.ATK damage from 40 to 50

Dev Notes: This one is kind of overdue and self-explanatory: rage and ciders currently give the same buff, which makes Rage effectively useless; these changes address that

Quality of Life Changes:
- All 15% scrolls obtained from the Spirit Point Shop will now be tradeable
- Updated the text of the @time command; going forward we'll follow EST since ST is confusing
- Updated 4th-job advancement box for warriors to reward the appropriate weapon scrolls based on their subclass
- Added the option to trade 20 Clean Slate 1% scrolls for a Clean Slate 20% scroll via the Maker skill
- Added @features, @guide,@ wiki, @vote commands for easier access to their respective forum/website page

- Fixed an issue with the widget that would cause spikes in CPU/memory usage in rare scenarios
- Fixed an issue where players couldn't click on NPCs if a map reload took place
- Fixed an issue preventing players from using @leaveevent in the Event Lobby
- Fixed an issue with the Roaring Tiger avatar smega peeping its head at the top right of your screen after completion
- Fixed an issue where players couldn't exit from Ellin PQ if they decided to end the run early
- Fixed an issue with Bling Long Hair w/Blunt Bangs not permitting players to change their hair color
- Fixed an issue with W.ATK-related buff re-application order after cc-ing/re-logging; weaker buffs will no longer overwrite stronger ones
- Fixed an issue where summon-type skills would deregister abruptly based on another summon
- Fixed an issue where players would remain debuffed while exiting an event map
Skill Changes:
- [F/P Mage] Paralyze is now a multi-target skill, hitting up to 6 monsters
- [F/P Mage] Paralyze's hitbox is now centered instead of forward-attacking only

Dev Notes: Fire/Poison mages seem to be a less popular choice as they either do not have utility, like Bishops, or the mobbing ability, like I/L Mages or Blaze Wizards. By making paralyze a multi-target skill, this gives them a much-needed alternative to the typical mist mobbing/meteor shower, which both have their moments to shine, but never give a reliable/quick source of mobbing. Additionally, the hitbox was previously a forward-facing projectile. It is now centered so that FP mages can hit behind them as well.

Quality of Life Changes:
- Updated the text of Tae Soo's Reward quest to clarify the need to click on the bench, not drop the peach
- Increased the number of Roasted Pork given by Chul Sung's quest from 1 to 2

- Fixed an issue where players' screens would flicker/shift every 1-2 hours
- Fixed an issue with Coy Face (M and F) having a blank F5 expression
- Fixed Freezer (Suburban Area 1) not dropping its monster card
- Fixed Glass Bridge event map missing background music
Seasonal Event: Halloween!
- The Free Market entrance has been taken over by various ghosts and ghouls... its kinda lit
- Hallowkitty has made her appearance in the FM; she seems to be looking to make a trade for some candy...interested?
- Halloween Candy will now drop globally from all monsters

New GM Event: Glass Bridge
- Players will be required to make it past a series of platforms (Squid Games, anyone?)
- If you select the portal on the correct platform, you'll move on to the next
- If you select the portal on the wrong platform, you'll fall to your de... to the beginning
- All players that reach the end before the timer runs out will be awarded 5 Event Points

Skill Changes:
- [Dawn Warrior] Moon Shadow damage reduced from 550% to 400%
- [Dawn Warrior] Intrepid Slash damage reduced from 400% to 250%
- [Dawn Warrior] Impaling Rays damage reduced from 2000% to 1000%

Dev Notes: Ah, Dawn Warriors. They appeared under-tuned, and now, are wreaking havoc with their buffed damage. DWs have been consistently appearing at the top of damage charts, despite having similar (or even worse) gear than their warrior counterparts. Looks like they were over-tuned by quite a bit, especially when we compare something like Intrepid Slash with Brandish. Given the changes to Power Stance (which will remain unchanged), damage numbers need some significant reductions to ensure things remain balanced.

Quality of Life Changes:
- [Temp.] Updated the cost of Super Megaphones from 500K to 50K mesos (to assist new players in reaching out)
- Updated the Event Point shop to allow players to purchase multiple quantities of an item at once
- Added @smega command; allows you to use Super Megaphones without the need to click (must have at least 1 smega in inventory)
- Added the YunaMS login and original Free Market BGMs to the @jukebox command (bottom of the list)
- Added crafting powder to the Spirit Point shop
- Added more Oyster reactors in The Generator Room

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the invitee of a Maple Messenger Chat would be exited from chat if the inviter changed maps
- Fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to proceed past CWKPQ stage 2 despite all the sigils being activated
- Fixed an issue where players could not family teleport/summon to The Passage
- Fixed an issue where players' returnMap ID would be set to -1, preventing them from using script-based portals (i.e. exiting FM)
- Fixed an issue where players would not receive the "You have played for X hours" client message
- Fixed an issue where reactors on the following maps would not respawn: Orbis, Orbis Park, Generator Room
- Fixed an issue where the text on some shoes would appear as "NO-NAME"
- Fixed a few client-related issues (these were sent out via hotfixes, so just a reminder to run the patcher to grab all the updates!)
Skill Changes:
- [I/L Mage] Adjusted Chain Lightning's bounce logic; will now reach more targets nearby the first target hit
- [Shadower] Increased the attack count of Assaulter from 1 to 2 (to better compete with Savage Blow)

Quality of Life Changes:
- [Temp.] Increased the duration of Hired Merchants from 24 to 72 hours (this feature is TEMPORARY, contingent upon player count)
- [Temp.] All players will now receive a notice when a new player logs in, in an effort to help out newcomers (same logic as above)

Performance Changes:
- Optimized client memory management; client should now start ~2-3 seconds faster
- Optimized server packet management; reduces wait time between in-game actions for high-latency clients
- Improved performance of client and widget; handling of CPU/RAM/GPU usage is now more efficient; also reduces occurrences of GFX
- Removed unnecessary calls to server instancing; should lower the burden on the server itself

Dev Notes: To give some context on these changes, we are now using a newer, stable, client; as such, all edits that were made directly to the client are now ported over to our custom DLL; Some may have been missed due to the naive nature of my programming skills back then, so if you come across any of these MINOR issues, we would appreciate a swift report using @gm in-game, or on the discord. We do not anticipate many (if any) issues, but if we do, they are easily patchable without the need for a restart. Quick and painless!

Additional Changes:
- Added all new Cash Shop item requests
- Added 2 new faces to the premium shop

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where Superior Arrows would be removed from inventories if they reached 0 and you had more than 1 set
- Fixed an issue where the widget would automatically hide itself after a few seconds of staying open
- Fixed an issue where players could proceed with the Forgotten Master questline despite having a full inventory
The Burning Event has now concluded! Thank you all for your participation and support!!

Skill Changes:
- NightLord/NightWalker's Shadow Star duration increased from 2 minutes to 5 minutes

Quality of Life:

- Fixed a rare occurrence of player's accounts remaining logged in when they actually logged off
Website Changes:
- Updated UX for the password/PIC reset portions of the homepage
- Added additional rate-limiting protocols to prevent potential DDoS attacks
- Added dedicated Login/Signup and Download buttons for a more obvious call-to-action (great for new members)

Skill Changes:
- Nightwalker's Enveloping Darkness will no longer be dispelled by monsters
- Thunder Breaker's Static Focus will no longer be dispelled by monsters
- Dawn Warrior's Power Stance proc chance increased from 50% to 95%
- Dawn Warrior's Power Stance is no longer a party skill

Dev Notes: Thank you all for your feedback! The general sentiment around Dawn Warrior's is that they are in a much better place, however, the low proc chance of stance was a bit too low when it came to DW's self-stance. Since we cannot decouple self vs. party stance procs due to v83 buff stat limitations (without a major rewrite), the consensus is to revert back to a solo skill and up the proc instead. An iterative process, indeed, so we appreciate your patience!

New Event Point Reward: Shiny Event Box
- Traded for 15 Event Points via Jarvis; double-click to obtain an item as follows:
- 70% chance to obtain a common item (15% scrolls)

Dev Notes: Dawn Warriors have been in an interesting place; some would argue they lack identity, while others argue they lack damage. They simply don't have their own place. Party stance was well-received, however, it's definitely a little too OP considering its old proc chance. Previous changes to DW resulted in them becoming stance mules instead of a standalone class. With today's changes, Dawn Warriors should become more of a solid pick, providing them with their own identity along with some additional damage and much needed survivability. Will continue to monitor feedback to see how these changes are received. Thank you!

Thunder Breakers seem to be outperforming Buccaneers in terms of damage, as well as popularity. The vision for these classes is to make TB a cleaver-type, while Buccaneers would be strong single-target. It appears, even after players have reached a higher level, that buccaneers do in fact need some love for their higher levels, as well as a minor adjustment to their 3rd job. Therefore, the following changes have been made to revive the class:

Skill Updates:
- Buccaneer's Barrage damage increased from 430% to 450%
- Buccaneer's Demolition damage increased from 600% to 620%
- Marauder's Energy Charge weapon attack buff increased from 35 to 40
- Marauder's Shockwave damage increased from 700% to 800% (typo fixed)

General Updates:
- Wiki fully synced with game files
- Players will now claim a map immediately upon dealing damage
- Added Dragon Canyon to the VIP cab in leafre
- Added +15% elemental damage to Reverse Aeas Hand and Reverse Enlil Tear (all elements)
- Added an option to Chief Tatamo to trade in existing Heroic Stars/Pendants if you received the wrong one from Manon/Griffey
- Increased the speed of all mounts <= 200 speed by +20

- The following skills can no longer be dispelled: Touch of the Wind, Holy Shield, Combo Barrier
- Fixed boats/trains taking longer than expected
- Fixed Buccaneer's Critical Punch not triggering critical hits when used by itself

Finally, a few patches ago, we updated lower-level training to give new players leveling options when PQs were unavailable. The other side of things was for higher levels, where players were using only a handful of maps to train, or not training altogether because bossing was just way more effective. Therefore, the following changes have been made to the listed monsters to provide a solid buff and open up some unused training grounds.
(Note: base EXP without the 3x multiplier is being used in these calculations; may require additional changes, will monitor):

New Website and GTOP Banner:
This one is straight forward but worth the call-out!
Thank you to @pretty for creating a beautiful new GTOP banner for us
Thank you to @izarooni for developing a new web layout and backend

New Feature: Level 300!
5tq4OWa.png

- Increased level cap from 250 to 300
- Increased min. level difference for EXP sharing from 20 to 50
- Added bonus expedition EXP multiplier for levels 251-280 at 2.0x
- Added bonus expedition EXP multiplier for levels 281-300 at 3.0x

Dev Note: This is a significant change to the overall core of YMS. By introducing a higher level
cap, we can open up the doors to adjustments to existing features, along with potential for future
upgrades. Given the changes to boosted EXP, along with the new updates below, we believe this will
trigger some healthy competition and add a bit of spice without compromising the vision. Please note
there is a minor visual bug where the level at character select shows incorrectly in some cases. This
is a known bug and will be addressed in a follow-up. Thank you!

New Cash Item: 2x EXP Chests
WcPvqQB.png

- Purchasable via the Cash Shop (USE > ETC tab)
- Can be purchased once PER ACCOUNT, PER DAY
- Can be activated anytime after purchase, but within 24 hours of the purchase
- Once activated, 2x will begin immediately for 1 hour
- Players can purchase a fresh 2x chest when reset occurs at midnight

Dev Note: This will likely spark some [healthy] fires for all players, regardless of their current
status (starter, mid, end gamers). We hope that by adding this core feature to YMS, players of all
shapes and sizes will be incentivized to grind, either together or solo, along with finding a new
value to bossing/expeditions. This will also give casual players some cushion to catch up to end-game,
considering the increased level cap and boosted mob/quest EXPs. We will continue to monitor this for any
issues and hope it will be received well by all. 2x drop is EXCLUDED, due to the recent buffs to mesos
along with our custom drop table.

New Feature: Automated Events (BETA)
fIYpIO5.png

- System-hosted events will begin 1 hour after the server reboots, and occur every 6 hours after
- Players will be automatically provided Event Points upon successful completion
- Only 1 player may join per machine
- All events will be hosted in Channel 1 only
- Events in rotation: Ghost Chimney, Maple Fitness, Russian Roulette, Witch Tower

Dev Note: This is a feature I've previously released which came with its own set of problems. As
such, I've reworked a ton of the maple event logic, which all seems stable; however, it's safer to
mark this as a beta feature so we can do some real test runs with multiple players (rather than me
playing an event by myself to test). Let's keep a close eye on this as there may be some minor dings
and dongs that need ironing out. Depending on the feedback, I'll add in the remaining events into
the rotation, so please report issues directly to the forum or discord and we will patch them right
up!

New Skill: Cygnus' Blessing
4BAjgDf.png

- Available to all Knights of Cygnus
- Similar to Explorer's Blessing, a quest lightbulb will appear once you reach level 200
- If cast while echo is active, echo will be recast after the CB duration, just like EB

Monster EXP Changes:
THYXRwf.png

Dev Note: This is part 1 of 2 of the changes that help address the slight gap in leveling between
levels 105-130. By upping these mob EXP values, we hope that players will find a renewed training
ground for their early-mid game grind, along with helping them level up to their 4th job.

Quest EXP Changes:
EWxaiTx.png

Dev Note: This is part 2 of 2, again targeting the level gap. We now have a complete set of quests
that will assist new players in guiding them towards early-mid game to roughly Lv. 13x. Considering
the jumps in level, we also believe setting the Temple of Time mob kill count back to 999 is
justifiable. Minimum level requirements have also been reduced to ensure players can complete the
full questline without waiting.

Skill Changes:
- [All Classes] Increased the max level of Blessing of the Fairy from 25 to 30
- [Shadower] Decreased the delay between assaulter usages by ~33%
- [Dawn Warrior] Increased Moon Shadow damage; range is now 355-550
- [Dawn Warrior] Increased Impaling Rays damage; range is now 1300-1500
- [Dawn Warrior] Increased Intrepid Slash mob count from 1 to 3

Item Changes:
- Increased the WATK/STR/DEX/INT/LUK of the Sweetwater Gloves from 8/8/8/8 to 12/14/14/14 (respective)
- Increased the WATK/STR/DEX of the Sweetwater Warrior Shield from 14/8/8 to 16/20/20
- Increased the WATK/STR/LUK of the Sweetwater Thief Shield from 20/8/8 to 30/10/20
- Increased the MATK/INT/LUK of the Sweetwater Mage Shield from 6/8/8 to 18/18/10
- Increased the WATK of the Sweetwater Mace from 133 to 143
- Increased the WATK of the Sweetwater Maul from 137 to 148
- Increased the cost of the Earring for INT 15% scroll from 10 to 15 Spirit Points
- Added Earring for W.ATK 15% scroll to the Spirit Point Shop

- Increased the max. level gap for adding juniors to your family from 30 to 50

- Decreased the delay in between usage of multiple in-game commands in succession
- Updated @rollmap; can now be used in a few missing boss and PQ maps
- Updated @rankings; new option available to view legacy rankings (pre-level 300 changes)
- Updated @guide; will now point to the questline guide to assist new players with faster leveling
- Added @knownbugs command; displays current bugs; if you're interested in helping us replicate them
- Added @forum command; takes users directly to the main forum page for easier access
- Added an option to Lenario in the Guild HQ to allow offline-removal of a guild from your alliance
- Added an option to Chief Tomato in Leafre to allow purchase of the Dragon's Perfume Bottle
- Added a bunch of missing world maps
- Added a Merchant Notification toggle to the widget for notifications when an item is sold in your shop
- Added Zipangu: Castle Corridor to the Jump Quester
- Removed a check in the Free Market entrance that would cause players to disconnect if damage was taken
- Players can now use teleport rocks/family teleport while transformed
- Pets will now render behind players to avoid blockage
- Events will now be limited to 1 entry per HWID
- Values in the yellow EXP gauge will now appear with commas for large numbers
- Ore Storage will now list your stored resources in alphabetical order
- Player NPCs will now auto-deploy upon reaching level 300 (current NPCs have been removed for this change to take effect)

Fixes:
- Fixed a few footholding issues with FM (f3)
- Fixed a few tooltip and skill string typos
- Fixed the positioning and ranking logic of player NPCs
- Fixed an issue with GTOP payload processing and race conditions
- Fixed an issue where the Windows key wouldn't properly release (applies to singular clients)
- Fixed an issue where ore storage would sometimes not load properly
- Fixed an issue where AP reset operations would fail in rare scenarios
- Fixed a visual bug with duplicated pets

Final Remarks:
We hope that these changes will be received well by the community and provide a new
challenge to existing players, while enticing new ones to join. As always, we will keep a watchful
eye on how progression feels, while maintaining the classic nature of our beloved mushroom game. We
will also continue to look for more ways to enhance your gaming needs.

Shoutout to @Dave for helping bug bash
and test out a bunch of things!

That's all! Thank you again for your support and as always, enjoy~! ✨

Game Optimization
In an ongoing effort to increase the performance of YMS, I've been working on the backend
infrastructure of various system components. The goal is to lower overhead and reduce
the "expensive" nature of certain in-game operations, which will naturally manifest as faster
load/save times. A few optimizations have been added for this patch, so I anticipate some things
will work a bit faster (similar to how the Ore Storage was optimized). Regardless, whether its
noticeable or not, would love it if I can get some feedback on how things feel with these
changes!

Automated Event Changes:
- Added Ola Ola to the auto event rotation (randomized portals!)
- Added Maple Snowball to the auto event rotation (team based)

Bossing Changes:
- Increased the base EXP of Empress by 2x
- Increased the base EXP on all Chaos Zakum body parts by 3x
- Increased the base EXP of Wulin by 5x
- Increased the base HP of Wulin by 5x
- Adjusted the hitbox of Bodyguard B to reduce its iframe delay

Dev Note: A few bosses required some adjustments since they were either a bit lack-luster, not from
their mechanics necessarily, but because they seem to either be way too easy, or just not worth
it, or needed a bit of a buff to match the effort required. As such, to be more inline with the
risk/reward ratios, these changes are warranted.

Quality of Life Changes:
- Players will no longer see Monster Cards drop from mobs for sets they've already completed (pets too!)
- Chair Storage is now shared across all characters on the same account (similar to the other storages)
- Added additional resolutions to the settings.ini file (This will only work with monitors that support the higher res!)
- Added notifications for when a member of a guild alliance levels-up
- Added a toggle for alliance level-up messages to the widget
- Added Overall Armor for STR 65% to the Lv. 70 Pirate Advancement Box
- Increased the CASH item duration of Starter Pack items from 2 to 3 days
- Increased the max HP/MP on the Monster Hunter Medal from 1000 to 2500
- Increased the max HP/MP on the Beast Slayer Medal from 3000 to 3500
- Removed cooldown between smega usages (toggle to view smegas can be found in the widget!)

Fixes:
- Fixed a visual issue with level display at character select
- Fixed an issue with arrow stacking (…again)
- Fixed an issue with the Scroll Storage that would consider non-scroll items as scrolls
- Fixed an issue with Ability Point assignment/resets for higher level players
- Fixed an issue with Starter Pack items where items bought afterward would wrongfully stack together
- Fixed an issue preventing players from teleporting to/from Ereve Forked Road
- Fixed an issue with pet item ignore registering the wrong items
- Fixed an issue with quest mismatch for Ripped Paper 2, causing it not to drop
- Fixed a few issues with explorer medal quests (if you were impacted by this bug, please use @gm)
- Reverted a previous change for allowing Maker skill while sitting due to unintended skill interactions

Enjoy, and have a great weekend! ✨

Donator Shop: Premium Item Changes:
- Decreased the price of Fast Travel from 10,000 to 5,000
- Added Wheel of Destiny (30 day)
- Added Transmorpher (30 day)
1719848997908.png

Skill Changes:
- [F/P Mage] Updated Fire Demon to a powerful single-target skill (similar to Ice Demon)
- [Thunder Breaker] Increased the damage of Octopunch from 200% to 210%
- [Thunder Breaker/Buccaneer] Touch damage from Energy Charge will no longer reflect back to player
- [Dark Knight] Decreased Dragon Blood W.ATK bonus from 70 to 50
- [All Thieves] Decreased the delay of Dark Sight proc by ~30%
- [Shadower] Increased the hitbox of Assassinate by ~40%
- [Shadower] Smokescreen will now block dispel (prevents losing all buffs)
- [Nightwalker] Increased damage of Vanish from 130% to 160%
- [Nightwalker] Removed cooldown on Enveloping Darkness

Dev Notes:
Fire-Poison Mages seems to not use their Fire Demon skill as it's shadowed by their Meteor
Shower. By updating Fire Demon to be similar to Ice Demon, the aim is to make the skill more
useful as a Single Target vs. Multi Target.

Thunder Breakers were slightly underperforming compared to their Buccaneer counterpart; however
given they have a fast-casting, multi-target, skill (Shark Wave), we believe a modest buff to
Octopunch (single-target skill) should close the gap. Also, getting killed by accidentally touching
a mob while damage reflect was on was not a fun mechanic, so that was removed for both classes.

Dark Knight's have been consistently overperforming by quite a bit. Without compromising the class,
a slight nerf is needed to Dragon Blood to ensure players are using attack potions rather than
relying on their skill alone.

Shadowers are in a good position, but missing a skill because you're slightly too far from a mob
sucks, so assassinate received a buff to its hitbox. Additionally, similar to NW, Shadowers will
also benefit from the Dark Sight delay reduction for macroing.

Nightwalkers have bee underperforming compared to their Nightlord counterpart. By providing these
buffs, we also close the gap between the two. Additionally, with the reduction of Dark Sight delay,
vanish macros should feel a bit better.

Gachapon Changes:
- Updated the common/uncommon/rare chances from 90/9/1 to 75/20/5, respectively
- Updated item lists for each Gachapon NPC to clarify items and categories, along with their chances
- Added a bunch of [relevant] items to the uncommon item pool for each gachapon
- Increased the cost of Gachapon Tickets via Jarvis from 800,000 to 1,000,000 mesos

Dev Note: The aim here is to make Gachapon viable again. Currently, its a bit lackluster, and
provides a very low chance at receiving something good. With the addition of more relevant items,
adjustments to item stats (see below!), and adjustments in tier rates, players now have a much
better chance at obtaining something usable. Remember, you can see a full list of all the items

each Gachapon has, along with their chances, by visiting the respective NPC in Gachapon Land

Item Changes:
- Added +3 INT to Bosshunter Boots
- Added +5 M.ATK to Glitter Gloves
- Increased the INT of Glitter Gloves from 3 to 5
- Increased the STR/DEX/SLOTS of Bosshunter Helm from 3/3/7 to 20/20/10
- Increased the INT/LUK/SLOTS of Bosshunter Faceguard from 3/3/7 to 20/20/10
- Crescent Moon Belt is now tradeable
- Crescent Moon Ring is now tradeable

The following items now have a significantly-reduced NPC price:
- Zakum Helmet
- Chaos Zakum Helmet
- Targa Helm
- Scarlion Helm
- Horntail Pendant

Dev Note: Regarding NPC prices, the intention is to encourage sharing/giving-away these items rather
than NPCing for a low payout.

Quality of Life / Misc. Changes:

game! ENJOY <3

Hello!

Just a quick note before getting into the patch notes - this patch brings in some optimizations to
how the system handles loads and saves. I noticed there was some heavy-loading occuring per
character rather than account. Meaning if you had more accounts, your save/load times would grow by
100% per character. Now, after your first login, we'll be using a more robust caching system that
should speed up your load time for each login! Your first login will be the slowest, then each
subsequent login will be much faster.

Hopefully you'll notice some pretty nice speeds as of this patch, so please let me know if you do
(or dont!). Thank you all for your support and patronage!!

New Item: Hyper Teleport Rock
Ever wanted to warp directly to a map on the World Map, just like in GMS? Look no further!
With the release of the Hyper Teleport Rock, players can now select a node on the World Map,
and teleport directly to that location! Added to Jarvis' Donator Shop.

New Automated Event: Astral Glades JQ
Test your jump puzzle skills with one of our hardest JQs yet.
This one is a tough one, so it definitely won't be easy.
However, its worth noting: it IS possible to complete!
Just use some... momentum ;)
Thank you @Adam!

Hello!

A few changes noted below are a direct result of some reports we received of players "botting" -
upon investigating, it turns out these users were not actually botting in the "conventional" sense.
However, some loopholes were definitely revealed. Although I hate to shut down the creativity of
users, its best we add some checks in-game to address this, purely to ensure fair gameplay for ALL
users. Thank you for your understanding!

Quality of Life Changes:
- Drops from monsters killed by summons must now be looted only by the killer
- Passively-dealt damage will no longer apply to the monster if a player is AFK
- Adjusted check to drop PQ-related items to the nearest portal if a player DCs (for relooting)
- Removed Universal Transparent Pet Collar from the Donator Shop (in favor of perma-ing items)

Fixes:
- Fixed players being removed from all parties via the widget expedition manager if the party was full
- Fixed timers disappearing when players change maps while the timer is still running
- Fixed a client crash related to map: Audience Room Corridor
- Fixed a client crash related to un-disposed summon objects
- Fixed a client crash caused by window management
- Fixed game window minimizing if users held CTRL then left-clicked
- Fixed missing dispose on Hyper Teleport Rock
- Fixed a few minor typos

Lv. 300 Milestone Reward: The Eternal Maple Shoulder
Introducing the final level milestone reward for reaching level 300 in YunaMS - the Eternal Maple
Shoulder. This is a truly unique item, specifically because most servers in our category don't have
have this, but on top of that, this shoulder is equippable in its own slot. Players will immediately
receive the EMS via Jarvis after reaching level 300. From then on, the hunt for Eternal Crystals
begins. You can obtain these crystals from various high-level mobs, albeit at a low chance. With
100 of these crystals, along with a hefty cost, you will receive the Eternal Should Scroll, which
then can be used to upgrade the EMS. Some minor details may change but here's a few snippets:

1723744992958.png1723826034351.png1723745023591.png

Here's the current level rankings, best of luck to our challengers!
1723745365881.png

New Feature: Premium Cosmetics Search:
Tired of clicking through all the hairs and faces we have to offer? Worry no longer! Jarvis now has
the option to search for a particular style for some MUCH-easier browser:

1723745556455.png
1723745575075.png
1723745607018.png

New Cash Item Requests Processed:
1723745086659.png1723745230955.png1723745242879.png1723745188683.png1723745255638.png

Scarlion / Targa Rework:
- Chaos Scarlion and Chaos Targa will now drop a stronger chaos-version of their hats
- Chaos Scarlion and Chaos Targa will now have more explosive drops
- Increased the base HP of all Scarlion and Targa forms (Normal and Chaos) by 20%
- Increased the base EXP of all Scarlion and Targa forms (Normal and Chaos) by 100%

Dev Notes: Overall, scarga has been underwhelming and didn't provide a rewarding experience, for
either the normal or chaos versions. By upping the difficulty, along with adjusting these drops,

players should find a new purpose to this otherwise unused expedition.

Skill Changes:
- Shadower's Steal mob count increased from 1 to 3
- Nightwalker's Vanish is now a passive damage buff (no longer requires Dark Sight macro)

Dev Notes: The reason for the Vanish change is actually because of inconsistencies found by @David,
where we noticed the full damage output was not being displayed UNLESS you waited a few seconds
while in dark sight. This was only an issue for his machine, unrelated to his character or account.
As a result, we decided its easier to change the mechanic of Nightwalkers by providing the buff
directly, rather than requiring the use of dark sight. This means, that players will no longer have
to setup a macro of Dark Sight + an attack skill to receive the vanish buff - it will now be
immediate. tl;dr - no longer need to macro to receive the vanish damage buff. This only applies to
Nightwalkers!

Quality of Life Changes:
- Dr. Ooof in Knight District 2 now has the option for players to exchange their blessing skillbooks
- Players can now jump-down from platforms in Zakum and Chaos Zakum's Altars
- Normal pets can now be made permanent via Jarvis
- Beauty Book can now be gifted via Jarvis (Note: Styles are NOT transferred - only the book itself)
- Amoria PQ will now reward players with 5 PQ points
- Adjusted pet-loot checks for smoother looting
- Adjusted Hyper Teleport Rock map handling for smoother teleporting
- Added @track command; displays an arrow over your head to keep track of where you are in a map
- Added a check to the Stop the Wedding quest to ensure players receive the Wedding Hall Key
- Increased the level 150 milestone reward of 10 Gachapon tickets to 25 Gachapon tickets
- Increased the NX:MP conversion ratio from 20:1 to 25:1
- Increased the PQ points obtained from Ellin PQ from 2 to 3
- Increased the PQ points obtained from Ludi PQ from 5 to 8
- Increased the PQ points obtained from Romeo and Juliet PQs from 8 to 10
- Decreased the PQ points obtained from Ludi Maze PQ from 3 to 1
- Decreased the overall delay of successive requests client-sided (i.e. looting, using potions)
- Removed Ghost Chimney and Witch Tower from the auto-event rotation (since Jump Quester has these already)

Fixes:
- Fixed Silver Mane quests not appearing for players that have finished a mount quest on another character
- Fixed SP Reset (All) excluding the Improved HP Recovery skill
- Fixed certain hairstyles refusing to show their alternative colours when using the Super Stylist Coupon
- Fixed certain cash shop items wrongfully considered as permanent when trying to gift another user
- Fixed warp-out schedules remaining attached to players who have exited an event but started a Jump Quest
- Fixed a crash related to usage of NPC/storage interactions
- Fixed a crash related to morphs and combos
- Fixed a visual bug with level display at the character select screen (multi-clients may cause issues still)
- Fixed Combo Attack getting dispelled upon using an item
- Fixed an issue forcing players to change channels to be able to fame again if the first was unsuccessful

New Feature/Item: Universal Magic Powder (UMP) Exchange:
- Players can now find these universal magic powders across various strong mobs
- UMPs can be traded for specific Magic Powders or Crystal Ores, via Dr. Ooof in the Stronghold
1725818030495.png1725818038433.png

New Feature: Revisiting Maple Island:
- Players now have the option to return to Maple Island
- Visit Shanks in Lith Harbor to re-visit the island
- Each entry is limited to 15 minutes, disables most skills, and only accessible via Channel 4
1725818055872.png

Dev Notes: Your feedback has been heard! Many players suggested this functionality since some
decided to skip the Maple Island quests. With this addition, along with the restrictions in place,
players can complete any missed island quests without messing with the new player experience.

New Items: Additional 15% Scrolls:
- Added new 15% scrolls to the Spirit Point shop for Face/Eye Accessories, Cape, Shoes, and Belt
- Each successful scroll will provide +1 W.ATK, +2 M.ATK, and +2 All Stats
1725818075301.png

Dev Notes: We saw some feedback about a lower-risk, lower-return, option compared to the typical
Chaos Scroll/White Scroll meta. With the addition of these scrolls, players have another option to
buff up some unused equipment without having to dump as many Spirit Points as they do with end-game

content.

Skill Changes:
- Nightwalker's Vanish: Decreased damage from 160% to 130%
- NightLord/Shadower's Ninja Ambush: Removed animation delay entirely
- NightLord/Shadower's Ninja Ambush: Added 5 second cooldown in-between casts
- Buccaneer's Energized Punch: Changed to passive skill; provides flat percent damage increase

Dev Notes: With the recent changes to Vanish, where the damage is applied up-front rather than
requiring a macro, NW's are proving to be in a much stronger place - a little TOO strong. As such,
a nerf is warranted, which similarly matches with the avoidability from their Nightlord
counterpart. Additionally, Ninja Ambush is one of those skills that hasn't been used - these
changes will give thieves some more utility, along with making the skill feel much smoother
especially while grinding. We will review other "useless" skills posted on the forum as well in
case there are others that can benefit from a mechanic change. Finally, Energized Punch has been
wonky since the beginning, so I decided to rework it entirely and change it to a passive buff.

Buccs should now see a flat boost in damage without the need to cast this peculiar skill.

Quality of Life / Other Changes:
- The YMS DB / Wiki has been fully synced with our recent changes
- Moved purchasing of certain premium misc items (coupons and such) from the Cash Shop to Jarvis
- @rollmap can now be used at Pink Bean's entrance map
- Chaos Zakum Helmet can now be made tradeable via the Scissors of Karma
- Added card icons for Monster Cards via the @whodrops and @whatdropsfrom commands
- Added requirement of Gordon's Magic Iron to craft the Scroll for Spikes via maker
- Added a widget toggle to show completed monster cards when monsters drop items
- Added a widget toggle to track yourself (effect will remain until toggled off)
- Added @patchnotes command to be taken directly to latest patch notes
- Removed @track command in favor of the widget toggle
- Removed the Chair Storage NPC from Gachapon Land (in favor of Jarvis)
- Removed boom chance from Clean Slate 1/3/10% scrolls
- Increased the character limit of all chat messages from 70 to 150
- Increased the drop chance of Tauromacis and Taurospear monster cards from 2% to 10%
- Increased the success chance of Scroll for Spikes / Scroll for Cold Protection from 10% to 90%
- Increased the success chance of the Eternal Shoulder Scroll from 70% to 100%
- Increased the attack speed of Red Surfboard from Slow (7) to Fast (5)
- Increased the required level of Timeless gear from 140 to 160
- Increased the required level of Sweetwater gear from 180 to 200
- Decreased the time it takes to allow summons to attack significantly (addressing AFK farming)
- Decreased the spirit point cost of Clean Slate 20% from 60 to 40 SP

Dev Notes: Regarding the increase in level for the TL and SW items - this change is intended to smoothen out
gear progression and ensure low-to-mid tier gear is utilized. Currently, considering the changes to
our boosted quest line and other systems, we're seeing a significant number of players out-right
skip other gear sets, and as such, an adjustment to the level requirements is needed. With this
change, we'll breathe new life into lower-leveled gear, especially Zakum Poisonic and Reverse
equipment, and stimulate a portion of the market. We realize this may cause some players to be
unable to use their gear, however the vision here is to ensure progression remains
stable rather than sharp.

Fixes:
- Fixed Mithril Mutae drop data displaying incorrectly via the @whatdropsfrom
- Fixed null issue with Maple Snowball (will keep an extra eye on this)
- Fixed a TON of cape effects (Thanks MasterRulax!)
- Fixed drop table of the Iron Hog in Pig Beach and Burnt Land II
- Fixed operations not working in-game while a pet is looting
- Fixed clients freezing briefly before clicking the login button
- Fixed werewolf mount unable to dismount via hotkey
- Fixed players able to join event while inside mini dungeons
- Fixed buff durations using the un-buffed duration from Alchemist when changing channels
- Fixed buff persistence cancelling out other buffs when changing channels (or otherwise)
- Fixed certain monster card buffs overriding stronger buffs
- Fixed maker prices taking slightly more mesos than intended when multiple reagents are used
- Fixed crafting Superior Shurikens taking more Balanced Furies than intended
- Fixed Legendary Spirit soft-locking players if accidentally scrolling a 0-slot item
- Fixed foot holding in Herb Town's Old Swamp
- Fixed resolution 2560 x 1440 failing to work for monitors that support it

Thank you all for your support and patronage <3
We will continue to review feedback and, as always, provide you all with the best MSPS experience possible
Enjoy !

New Configuration: Singapore Proxy Server:
- Added a new config to the settings.ini to use the YMS Singapore server
- To connect to the Singapore server, simply update the value of singapore_proxy in settings.ini to the value 1

Dev Notes:
SEA players seem to experience intermittent connection issues when trying to connect to
the YMS network. Some users have reported that if they connect to a VPN, the issue resolves itself.
Instead of doing that, I've added a config that players can adjust in the settings.ini file, that
will allow users to connect to our Singapore relay server, which will then forward their request
directly to our main game server, effectively serving as a VPN (but its on us instead of the
user!). This should fix issues with poor connection for players overseas. Works similar to how

resolutions are set! Any questions, please let us know via the forum or discord!

Quality of Life Changes:
- Added toggle to widget for Weekly Challenge yellow text

Fixes:
- Fixed a crash related to Maple Snowball
- Fixed Event Points getting reset due to Maple Snowball (EPs have been comped!)
- Fixed duplicate hardware IDs which prevented players from instancing together
- Fixed a visual bug with damage display caused by interactions with certain buffs
- Fixed an interaction with the windows / super key

Remember to check out the major patch notes from the previous post!
Enjoy <3

1727212043254.png1727212060697.png

Dev Notes: As a part 2 to our ongoing effort to address skills that have little use, these changes
will bring some life to some dusty old skills (along with adding a few QoL enhancements to some as
well!). The entire purpose of these changes is to make them a more viable option in your toolkit,
rather than remaining unused entirely (i.e. Endure, PA Fury, etc). As always, we will iterate
through our changes as we receive feedback, aiming to strike a balance rather than blindly
buffing/nerfing. For any skills that were reworked, you should have those skills received

automatically.

Item Changes:
- NEW ITEM: Papulatus' Mark; added to drop table of Chaos Papulatus
- Increased the W.ATK of Sweetwater 1H Axe from 133 to 146
- Increased the W.ATK of Sweetwater 2H Axe from 150 to 163
- Added +1000 HP to Krexel's Almighty Ring
1727212545385.png

Dev Notes: From our previous Sweetwater gear changes, we forgot to give some love to Axes due to
their low prevalence.

Automated Event Changes:
- Added Coconut Harvest to the rotation
- Added Red Light, Green Light to the rotation
- Removed Astral Glades (in favor of the JQ system)

Widget Changes:
- Added network latency metric to the widget home tab

- Renamed and alphabetized toggles for consistency

Quality of Life Changes:
- World Map will now appear in the center of your screen instead of skewed left
- New characters on the same account that has received a Monster Hunter Medal will now automatically receive one
- Existing characters on the same account that has received a Monster Hunter Medal can grab their medal from Dalair
- Astaroth's Dungeon Portal will now allow users to enter without a gas mask as long as the pre-quest is complete
- Added crash logs when clients crash (you will now see a CrashLogs folder in your YMS folder when an issue arises!)
- Added Astral Glades to the Jump Quester
- Added a 1-second delay between entering portals (addressing potential effect-persistence issues)

- Added Circle of Ancient Thought/Strength rings to the drop tables of all 3 Yeti & Pepe King bosses part of the Mushy Kingdom quest line
- Removed box 9 from Ludi PQ's 8th stage combination puzzle
- Increased the spawn of Official Knight E and Advanced Knight E slightly in Knight's District 4 and Hall of Honor
- Decreased the cost of All Cure Potions via Alcaster from 10K to 1K mesos

Fixes:
- Fixed level-up weekly challenges appearing for players >= level 250
- Fixed visual level display using the previous-logins level on character select
- Fixed dialogue pop-ups not appearing when clients crash (will help debug crashes!)
- Fixed Arans unable to dismount their Ryko mount via hotkey
- Fixed Beauty Book storing incorrect colors of styles
- Fixed missing sounds for Megiddo Flame and Flame Barrier
- Fixed a crash related to halted packets when moving the game window around
- Fixed a crash related to the expedition management component of the widget
- Fixed a crash related to returning to the login screen too fast
- Fixed NPC dialogues randomly closing due to fast usage
- Potentially fixed a map crash caused by summons
- Potentially fixed effects/pets duplicating upon entering a new map

Dev Notes: Just a quick note on the potential fix on summons: Since we're unable to 100% replicate
this crash, the task here was to go through some of the recent changes to see if those are causing
the issues. The only noticeable change here will be that certain summons will now need to be
recasted when logging back in or changing channels.I rather have users re-cast the summon rather
than it causing crashes, ya know? Will monitor this, so if you guys find any clues, please post on

the forum or discord! Hopefully this will address SOME of the crashes at the least.

Finally, the YunaDB/wiki will be updated within the next few hours with all these changes~

Enjoy <3

already have them removed, along with making their card drop rates 100%, both new and existing
players will have a much easier time completing their quests and monster memories. One final note:
ALL of these area bosses, will now drop their cards at a 100% rate, there were just a few missing.
Thank you all
for your feedback!

Quality of Life / Other Changes:
- Coconut Harvest will now last for 5 minutes; the team with the highest score after this duration will be victorious
- Aran's Body Pressure damage will no longer proc damage reflect
- Secret Letters will now be guaranteed to drop from all rocks in the MVPQ Treasure Dungeon
- Fame-based weekly challenges will now proc when fame is received in any form (players, quests, etc.)
- Added Ergoth's Throne to the excluded pet-loot check for boss maps
- Added Cash Shop Surprise (11) bundle to the Cash Shop
- Removed skill restrictions from Balrog PQ
- Increased the drop rate of Maple Pyrope weapons from 20% to 50%
- Increased the cost of SP Reset (All) from 30K to 100K NX (was a little TOO cheap for its utility)
- Increased the NX<>MP conversion rate from 25:1 to 30:1 (adjust to be 2 days worth of voting)
- Increased the NP<>NX conversion tax from 10% to 20% (a slight nerf to NX mules)

Fixes:
- Fixed Chaos Zakum summons refusing to die
- Fixed double summon/pets triggered by Bishop's door (similar to our previous portal fix!)
- Fixed strange timer clock behavior when transitioning maps
- Fixed unbalanced teams when joining an automated team-based Maple Events
- Fixed Orbis PQ giving 16 PQ; will now give 10 (instead of the originally intended 8)
- Fixed the max mastery level of Advanced Bless wrongfully displaying 30 instead of 20
- Fixed mount/battleship buffs cancelling while changing maps in Dojo or PQ maps
- Fixed an issue preventing certain monitor refresh rates from launching the game
- Fixed a crash related to certain mobs that would summon from other mobs (i.e. Soaring Wyverns)
- Fixed a crash related to the widget home tab
- Fixed a crash related to effect rendering / track feature of the widget

Dev Notes:
Quick note on the track feature: the way this worked was very hacky. I set it up so that
the effect layer doesn't get removed if the track feature is enabled. However, this was silly
because it prevented OTHER effects from properly rendering to the player when the track feature is
enabled, which caused crashes. So for the time being, the track feature will still work, however it
will now disappear after attacking/moving, and re-appear when players stop moving. Will look into a
better solution, but this is another one of those cases where a change in behavior is better than

crashing users. Ya feel me?

That's all for now! Thank you all, and enjoy ✨

- [All Pirates]: Dash reworked to an active skill (self cast only)
- [Buccaneer]: Removed cooldown on Transformation/Super Transformation; now requires 1 Magic Rock
- [Corsair]: Gun Mastery modifier increased from 10 to 30 (tighter damage range)
- [Corsair]: Animation duration decreased by ~20% for: Flamethrower, Ice Splitter, Torpedo, Beacon, Air Strike
- [Bowmaster]: Inferno damage increased from 170% to 280%
- [Bowmaster]: Arrow Rain damage increased from 190% to 280%; animation delay decreased slightly

- [I/L Archmage]: Seal reworked to Magic Crash; now nullifies monster magic immunity at a set chance

- [Aran]: Adjusted Combo Critical tooltip to explain combo-management caveats
Skill balancing is tricky, we look at many factors such as damage formulas, damage per
second, stat buffs, damage availability, maps and positioning, overall kit, and much more. Apart
from some of the overall mechanic adjustments, which I believe everyone will enjoy, there were
still some clear gaps. See below notes for a breakdown in our logic:

Bowmasters lived in shambles when it came to mobbing, so these buffs are well-deserved. They also
were underperforming slightly on the single-target aspect compared to their Sair/NL/MM friends,
purely due to the lack of damage availability, especially in bosses where positioning is key. The
adjustments in their mobbing abilities, along with a few tweaks, will put them in a much better
place. To ensure some additional balance with their Marksman counterparts, they've received a
slight buff to their ST as well.

Corsairs were also underperforming by a slight margin, mainly for their single-target abilities.
Instead of giving a straight damage buff, the most elegant solution was to tighten up their damage
range via mastery, instead of a buff directly to a skill. This will boost DPS for our gunner
friends as a whole, for any skills, assuming you have maxed Gun Mastery, as well as give some more
fluidity when using other skills.

Magic Crash was exclusive to only Paladins - with the feedback we received, it appears this was a
no-brainer: give Magic Crash to someone else! Hence why we decided to repurpose a useless skill
like Seal. This way, our elemental mage friends gain a bit more utility. Blaze Wizards are already
in a great spot, so they will not be receiving this.

Arans and Bishops have consistently overperformed, a nerf was needed to ensure some balance.
Overall, we're OK with giving Arans some of the upper hand, but they seem to be dominating on both
ST/MT fronts. Similar to Bishops - who are known to be more of a utility class. With the new
Advanced Blessing, we believe taking away some damage from this role will help regain some of its
identity.

FINALLY, with these changes, we're now just about wrapped-up with those "low-hanging fruit" classes
that either needed some love, or some further tweaking. Overall, we feel confident that these
changes will bring more balance to damage, and highlight some of the otherwise-lost utility of
certain classes. We're always monitoring, so will continue to do so. Thank you for reading the wall
of text!

- Increased Frankenroid's monster card drop rate from 20% to 100%
- Increased King Slime's monster card drop rate from 30% to 100%
Regarding the changes to expedition sizes, we're seeing an increase in Boss Trains being
run with nearly 30 players. Although this is AWESOME, it may be putting unneeded strain on
expedition leaders and some of the veteran players who just want to help out new users. By reducing
the cap from 30 to 12, the goal here is to encourage new players to try and attempt runs with
tighter parties. Given the reduction in max size, along with the removal of the Spirit Point tax on
larger sizes, this change will enable a more tight loot distribution for future parties, and kind
of push players to learn mechanics rather than relying on others. Remember to check out the guides
on the forum if you want to learn how to lead an expedition yourself!

Code:
Dev Notes: When Area Bosses (AB) started giving out Spirit Points (SP), it was back in the days of
our smaller, cozier player base. Upon polling the community for a pulse-check on this, 60% of
players were in favor of removing SP from ABs, while 40% wanted to keep it. It was close, and we
want to tread carefully. So here’s the plan: ABs will no longer reward SP directly. Instead, we’re
speeding up their respawn times, along with throwing a generous weeklies-completion SP reward to
balance things out. This way, any player now has access to a larger amount of SP, can hunt their
monster cards in peace, and be able to finish their quests without worry about additional rivalry.
With these changes, everyone has space to enjoy the game their way.

UPDATE: Please note, we are always evolving and trying to find better and better ways to implement our features.
We'll continue to monitor how these changes feel and will HAPPILY make adjustments to ensure SP gains are still
at least somewhat consistent pre-change. Thank you!!
